As a professional meeting planning company, ConferenceDirect and all of our Associates are committed to business practices that raise the professional standard in our industry and perception of our brand. We consider these practices to be our Code of Conduct. We commit to:
Conduct ourselves in a manner that will reflect positively on our customers, vendors and ConferenceDirect. When making recommendations or decisions we will provide full disclosure of all commissions. At no time do we accept commission on food and beverage.
Under no circumstances do anything that would damage the reputation of ConferenceDirect, or that of our vendors or customers.
Provide full disclosure to cities and hotels of potential (or lack of) business before accepting familiarity trips.
Never let our client's best interest be swayed by incentives or prepayments and accept no additional compensation or upgrades from Convention Bureaus or Hotels before first offering them to the customer.
Maintain customer/supplier/ConferenceDirect confidentiality of proprietary information.
Utilize our Code of Conduct to ensure the highest level of professionalism.
Give back a portion of our commission to charity and encourage our associates to do community service.
